What we collect
When you join the panel, we collect your first name, last name and email address. When you take part in a survey, we collect the answers you choose to give. If you contact us, we collect your name, email address and message.
How we use it
- To invite you to take part in surveys about Salt Spring Island issues.
- To administer prize draws for participants.
- To respond to messages you send us.
Participation is always voluntary. You are under no obligation to take part in any survey.
Confidentiality of your answers
The information collected is kept strictly confidential. None of the answers you provide will ever be attributed to you personally. Survey results are summed up and reported in aggregate form only.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Panel sign-ups and messages are stored in a private Google Sheet, and we use service providers to send email and run online surveys on our behalf. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to leave the panel at any time, by contacting us. When you leave, we will stop sending you survey invitations.
